Next time it’s late and you’re craving something to munch on, try this Carolina BBQ Chicken Sliders recipe. It’s incredibly easy to make and will satisfy your tastebuds. You’ll have to prepare the coleslaw a day ahead of time, but it’s well worth it. The coleslaw comes dangerously close to KFC’s…no joke. If you’d rather skip the wait, just grab a bottle of coleslaw dressing and call it a day.

Step 1
Mark as Complete

Mix together your coleslaw mix, Miracle Whip, sugar, and tarragon vinegar. Store in the refrigerator for 24 hours. If you’d rather skip the wait, just grab a bottle of coleslaw dressing at the grocery store.

You will need to make your coleslaw ahead of time because it will need to sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours. It will not taste right if you eat it right away! Trust us when we say that it needs to sit for 24 hours. Do not substitute the Miracle Whip for anything else! It will not taste right. You’ve been told!

Step 2
Mark as Complete

Place chicken breasts in a small pot and fill with chicken broth. The chicken broth should be covering the chicken breasts by at least a half inch. Make sure the chicken breasts you get at the grocery store are thin. Thicker cuts will cause for a longer cook time. Bring your pot to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat to simmer and cover. Cook for 8 minutes.

Step 3
Mark as Complete

Remove chicken and shred using a fork. Add your BBQ sauce, two tablespoons of chicken broth left from your pot, and mix well.

Step 4
Mark as Complete

Heat a cooking surface to medium and spray butter cooking spray on slider buns. Toast for 1-2 minutes.
