There’s nothing like a good old fashioned apple pie. And now, you can make this classic dessert in a mug. Yes, it’s real crust. Yes, it’s real apple. Yes, it’s guilt free! Whenever you have a sweet craving late at night, give this guilt free recipe a try. It is homemade goodness at its very best.

Preheat your stove to 425° and heat a small pot on medium.

Use a potato peeler and peel one Granny Smith apple, and cut into bite sized pieces.

Roll out one sheet of Pillsbury pie crust, and cut a large circle. It should measure about 4.5″ across. I use a mini 4″ springform cake pan to make a perfectly sized circle.

Add your butter to the heated pot and toss your apple pieces inside. Add your ground cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg, and allspice. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour apple pie filling in an oven safe dish, and place your pie crust on top. Cut 5 small slits on the top of the crust. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°.

Once finished baking, cool for 5-10 minutes. Add one scoop of ice cream if desired.
